Frequently Asked Questions
The child psychologist completes a comprehensive neurodevelopmental profile of your child. The profile helps us determine your child’s areas of strength and areas where he or she is weaker and would benefit from some support.
Your psychologist then interprets the profile in a report that’s shared with you.
The next step is the creation of an individualized education plan (IEP) for your child. Your psychologist uses the profile to create this plan, which you’ll use to advance your child’s skills.
The psychologist then customizes teaching tools that will encourage your child’s skill development. The teaching tools are delivered to your home.
You learn how to use mom’s belief teaching tools and techniques in weekly, one-hour sessions. Training can be taken at our research center or by video call.
At the end of one month, the teaching tools will be collected. Your psychologist will create another IEP for your child and another set of resources will be delivered to support that IEP.
At the end of three months, your child will be assessed again to see how he or she has progressed. The program continues in this way, with a new IEP and teaching tools provided each month, regular training and monitoring, and comprehensive skills assessments every three months.
The mom’s belief neurodevelopmental guided therapy home program was created precisely to empower the parents of special needs children. After registering your child for mom’s belief, you are connected with a child psychologist, who completes a neurodevelopmental profile of your child using your input. The child psychologist then interprets the profile in a report and develops an individualized education plan (IEP) for your child. The goals you have for your child’s development are considered when the education plan is prepared.
Once the education plan is finalized, your child psychologist will customize teaching tools that will help you achieve the goals in your child’s IEP. The resources are delivered to your home.

Children registered in the mom’s belief program are assessed by one of our child psychologists. The psychologist completes a neurodevelopmental profile of your child using information about your child’s skills that you provide. The neurodevelopmental profile is completed in two detailed assessments, which help us create a tailor-made report and education plan for your child. Your child psychologist then interprets the profile in a report that highlights your child’s strengths and areas where your child needs support.
After three months in the program, another neurodevelopmental profile is completed to determine the progress made and areas where further support is required.
Children are most receptive to learning when they are young, and the early years provide a window of opportunity that should not be lost. In fact, early intervention can improve outcomes for a special needs child, and the longer the intervention lasts, the greater the impact on your child’s development.
After your child’s neurodevelopmental profile and individualized education plan (IEP) are completed, customized resources will be delivered to your home. After one month, another IEP is prepared, your first set of resources is collected and another set is delivered. The program continues in this way, with a comprehensive neurodevelopmental profile completed every three months.
