If you’re the parent of a special needs child, here’s how we can help you
Support from Our Child Psychologist
In the mom’s belief Home Program, we appoint one of our child psychologists to assist you. The psychologist acts as your program guide and facilitator and your mentor.
Your child psychologist is with you at every step in the program to monitor your child’s progress and update the program to reflect your child’s changing needs. Each month, your psychologist provides a new education plan and resources to advance your child’s skills.
Your child psychologist is always available to support you – over the phone, in person, or via video chat platforms such as Skype / Facetime / WhatsApp Video Calling.
The Role of Your mom’s belief Child Psychologist:
- Completes a neurodevelopmental profile of your child
- Shares an interpretive report of your child’s skills
- Creates a monthly individualized education plan (IEP) for your child’s skill development
- Customizes mom’s belief teaching tools to support each education plan
- Monitors your child’s progress and updates the program accordingly
A Neurodevelopmental Profile and Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Your child psychologist completes a comprehensive neurodevelopmental profile of your child. The profile is completed using input from you about your child’s behavior and skills. It acts as the benchmark for your child’s skills and helps in measuring his or her progress while in the program.
After completing the profile, your psychologist interprets the profile in a report that’s shared with you. Then the profile is used to create an individualized education plan (IEP) that is tailored precisely for your child. The education plan identifies the skills that you’ll work on with your child. Your child psychologist creates a new IEP each month.
Customized Teaching Tools Delivered to You
Once your child’s IEP is ready, your child psychologist customizes teaching tools that you will use with the education plan. The teaching tools are selected from the mom’s belief resource library, which is stocked with over 500 engaging, effective tools developed by our R & D team.
The resources are delivered to your home with simple instructions for their use. At the end of one month, the resources are collected, a new IEP is prepared, and new teaching tools are delivered.
Weekly Training from Our Child Development Expert
We provide weekly, one-hour training sessions on the mom’s belief teaching tools and techniques you’ll be using. Training sessions are held at our center, or using a video calling platform such as Skype, Facetime or WhatsApp Video Calling. The sessions are conducted by one of our child development experts.
Your child psychologist monitors your child’s progress on a regular basis. Each new IEP is based on the skill development goals established for your child, taking his or her progress into consideration.
After three months in the program, the neurodevelopmental profile will be completed again. The profile is conducted every three months to check your child’s progress.
